Remembrance Sunday is always very well supported in Messingham. This year saw record numbers attend the church service and wreath laying ceremony at Messingham's War Memorial. Village organizations were well represented and over twenty wreaths laid

Cllr Neil Poole said, it is a real privileged to attend and take part in the service of remembrance. When I read the names of the fallen, I always think of the sacrifice they made and the lives they may have had here in our village. To see such a large congregation made up of all ages from across the village made me very proud of our village and the residents of Messingham.
